Priority Care Home employs experienced trained care staff. Records of all staff qualifications, credentials and experience obtained during the recruitment process are retained in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
All staff are selected for their qualities of experience, reliability, integrity, skill, friendliness, and professionalism. They are carefully screened, and references are always sought and checked thoroughly. During their induction, all Priority Care staff are provided with in-house and external training on the following areas:
Staff rotas are produced 4 weekly and constantly monitored, ensuring that all absences are covered, and staffing levels are maintained as per our Dependency Tool. A Dependency tool is used to define our staffing levels based on our occupancy and needs of each resident. This assures that all their needs can be met and managed.
Prior to each shift starting, the Senior Staff Member chairs a handover meeting where members of staff discuss the daily ongoings and wellbeing of each resident, in order to sustain a continuity of care.
